Aussie Rap Queen Sammy G Lands Global Video Game Deal

The Sydney Singer/Rapper is making international waves in a partnership with Tekken who have signed the artist to lay down some fresh beats for their new Tag Tournament 2.

The soundtrack will be featured on Collectors Edition games released around the world in Sep 2012.

Sammy G is the only Australian to be featured on the game.

“Im stoked to be representing Aussie Hip Hop on my favourite video game ever. Salute!”.

After Tekken gave her the key to their iconic fight sounds to remix into her track 'Do You Like It' she "wore the USB with the tracks around my neck for a whole week cause I didn't want anyone to get their hands on it. (laughs) I never took it off."

Check out her original track which was co-created with the help of Sydney producer P.R

Sammy’s next single will be out in August 2012 as part of her Queen Bitch EP.

Sammy G opening for DMX at Luna Park

Australia's hottest female rapper Sammy G will be opening for multi platinum American rapper and actor DMX on the Sydney leg of his Undisputed Tour, in the Big Top at Luna Park on May 12th, 2012.

Following the deaths of Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G., Earl Simmons, better known by his stage name DMX, has taken over as the reigning, undisputed king of hardcore rap. Everything about DMX is unremittingly intense, from his on stage presence, his muscular, tattooed physique to his gruff, barking delivery. There is substance behind his style, much of his work is tied together by a fascination with the split between the sacred and the profane. He can move from spiritual anguish one minute to a narrative about the sins of the streets the next. The results were compelling enough to make DMX the first artist ever to have his first five albums enter the charts at number one.

Sammy G's current single Do You Like It is ripping it up on Sydney radio, with The Edge 96.1FM giving it multiple daily plays...taking it right to the heartland of Sydney's youth. Sammy G recently performed her follow up single Freak U live at Femme Fatales of the Underworld, giving us a taste of the awesomeness that is to come. The guys in the office are looking forward to seeing the video for that one!
